Lev Bratishenko, Curator, Public, at the Canadian Centre for Architecture will be in residence at The Cosmic House between 21st and 27th of May 2022 as part of the programme ‘CCA Elsewhere.’ The Canadian Centre for Architecture is an international research institution and museum driven by a curiosity about how architecture shapes—and might reshape—contemporary life. It shares with the Jencks foundation a commitment to the electric potential of constantly reinterpreting history.
The residency will focus on inventing new public event formats that are specific to The Cosmic House and Charles Jencks’ archive and library, an environment loaded with ideas and primed for interventions and interpretations.A playthrough event during the week will test out several of the new formats, which will be gathered into a small publication in the future.
